Slings

Babies who are held are happier, cry less and learn more because they see and hear all the sights and sounds that you do. This helps stimulate their cognitive and social development as well as promoting a secure bond between parent and infant. Slings allow the infant to hear your heartbeat, smell your scent and be comforted by your warmth, all these help promote a nurturing environment that create a confident and secure child.

The benefits for mothers and fathers are numerous and individual. Some evidence proves it helps against post partum depression, helps to lose those extra pregnancy pounds, frees up your hands to help you go about your day, whether it be caring for another child or just everyday things such as grocery shopping or going for a smoothie. We’ve added a handy pocket that can fit a camera, phone or small wallet, as well as made these slings fully reversible so you can add some versatility to your sling. We are all about facilitating the accessories you need to get you out the door as quickly and simply as possible.

6 different positions possible: Cradle Carry, Front Carry, Tummy to Tummy, Kangaroo Hold, Hip Carry and Back Carry. Also great for nursing. Reinforced seams for extra durability. Small front pocket with velcro closure for camera, cellphone, iPod, keys, etc. 100% cotton, machine washable

To find the right size for you:

By using a soft measuring tape, start from one shoulder and measure diagonally to your hip, you should feel your hip bone. Sizing usually follows fitted t-shirt sizes.

When to go for a smaller size

If you are thin or have narrow shoulders, if you are petite - 5’3" (160 cm) or smaller) - or if you have a short torso.

When to go for a larger size

If you have an ample chest (breastfeeding), or over 5’9" (175 cm).

Some signs your sling is too big

The sling falls below your hip, baby doesn’t feel secure or your legs rub your baby as you walk.

Some signs that sling is too small

It is extremely difficult to get your baby into the sling, babies legs seem crammed in or neither one of you is feeling very comfortable.

When trying your sling for the first time be patient with yourself and your baby as you will get more confident with what position is most comfortable for you and your baby. Remember, babies love movement so fit your baby into your sling and get moving, the natural movement of walking is very soothing for little ones.

Do not use your sling:

While cooking or using hot liquidsIf any seams become frayed
